Crisis Intervention & family support - Emergency Relief
A Crisis Intervention Counsellor is available at the Centre Mon & Wed. We can assist you and your family with problems that arise. This may include referral to other agencies, counselling or material aid. Please ring 9369 4866 for an appointment.
Emergency Financial Relief
Food vouchers and parcels are available to residents of Laverton and Altona Meadows [west of Merton St.] on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 1pm. ID confirming place of residence must be provided.
Community Cafe
The Crown St Cafe offers 3 course meals on Wednesdays 11.30am -2.00pm for concession card holders for only $4.00 or $7.00 for those without a card. Bookings are essential & strict seating times apply. Call 9369 4866.
Volunteering
Volunteers are needed for the Laverton Festival held in November 2010. The local community is encouraged to become involved in the planning, development and the coordination up to and on the day of the festival. For more information contact Michael Pernar on 9369-4866

Rock n Roll group
Are you looking to learn how to rock and roll!! Then why not come along to the Rock and Roll classes held each Wednesday at 7pm at the Laverton Civic Complex (Cnr Crown St and Railway Ave). Classes are $12.00 per session and are relaxed, fun and social. Call 0403607318.

Sunrise Women’s Support Group
The Sunrise Women’s Support Group is open to all women with disabilities and meets in Room 1 at the Laverton Community Education Centre 12 Crown Street, Laverton on the 1st Friday of each month.
